By some quick calculations,If your downloading something,your max would be 128 Megabytes a second :O

i can get 1-3mb/s on my university connection if the website is decent.
any more is just greedy (unless they make "legal" torrents legal)

One BYTE, is 8 BIT, AFAIK. Say you had an internet connection running at 8128KB/s - Divide it by EIGHT, and that, in THEORY is the max speed you could get. Other factors knock it down to around 830Kb/s.
