Computer problem

I have been having many problems with my computer. Every time i try playing a game, it either shuts down at a random time or it exits out and says "This program has stopped working". These games have included age of conan, company of heroes, and medieval total war 2 (These are the only games i have tried it with). I have been trying to gather a lot of information and this is what i have found.

Also, i am not sure if this could be affecting it, but every time i boot up the computer a screen appears saying that the system did not boot down correctly although it did... You have to press f1 to continue.

I tested to see if their is a problem and it said that my driver is not found. All of my drivers are up to date although i am not totally sure my motherboard is but i think it is. Although in my device manager under other devices there is something called unknown device. This device has an unknown manufacturer. In my system diagnostics report, it had said that there is a device #UNKNOWN# that is not up to date with its driver. The "unknown device" in the device manager says that to install the driver click "reinstall driver", when i click this, it says "Windows is unable to install this driver device".

In my event i have hundreds of problems under "error". This is what they generally say:

Event filter with query "SELECT * FROM __InstanceModificationEvent WITHIN 60 WHERE TargetInstance ISA "Win32_Processor" AND TargetInstance.LoadPercentage > 99" could not be reactivated in namespace "//./root/CIMV2" because of error 0x80041003. Events cannot be delivered through this filter until the problem is corrected.

This is just some information i found. I will try and find some more but anyone has any idea on the information so far, please post.

Motherboard ASUS M2N SLI Deluxe
Ram 4 gigs
Graphics card ATI radeon HD 4800 series
Processor AMD Athlon 64X2 dual core processor
Power supply 650 wats

Also, i recently found some new information. This is from the game Medieval total war 2.

A problem caused this program to stop interacting with Windows.

How old is your computer? Have you run anti-virus scans? Do you defragment once a week or so? Did you erase all of your cookies and do a disk cleanup? Right click on your drive, click on properties, then tools and do a error-check on the disk. Try reseating your RAM. Just take it out and put it in different slots.

My computer is about 2 years old but i have recently gotten knew parts. I have had this problem for like 3 and a half months. About 1 and a half months ago i bought a 650 wat power supply and 4 gigs of ram. About 2 weeks ago i got the graphics card. The problem still persists after all that...

I have AVG so i don't think i have any virus unless it is like a hidden virus. My computer is scheduled to defrag once a week and i have already tried it again. I am not sure what you mean by erasing the cookies or disk cleanup though...
