Does this look all right?

Core 0-4 temperatures seem fine to me. But, the Core Temp gets extremely high. Is this normal, or just a mistake?



The core is hitting a max of 74C. It's not even overclocked!

ooohh um that doesn't seem right. thats a great cooler. im thinking it'll be fine because your other cores are fine

Then why is the overall temperature so high? All the cores seem perfectly fine. Never really breaking 40C.

Speedfan is incorrect, it shows that my fan is rotating at 1million rpm and that my core2 is at -74 degrees and it never changes

Wow, all of these programs are giving me temperatures of 5-15C less than speedfan. Thanks guys! Now I can overclock it with a sense of security, haha!

Also, Check your BIOS. Soemtimes it will tell you your temps. And I think Everest is good for temps too. Check it out.
