I just got a alert from AVG that I has found a virus. It pointed me to a file in the adobe program folder. Name is AcroRd32.exe which surprised me. I follow the path of the actual virus quite suspicious.

The path for the virus itself is C:\Users\My User\AppData\Local\plugtmp-1\plugin-read.pdf

Now I know the temp is a very well known place to find viruses but this one is freaky. Why would it be a adobe program with the virus. I hardly use adobe as I hate it to death for long loading times, but I just don't get it.

I can't go through my temp folder, which I knew before, but is there any way to go threw it? I already got the virus in the Virus Vault so its okay, but just for future reference.

Anyone else think this is a little weird?

I had the same problem running vista.
It just looks like a virus.
Delete the .exe file and reload it from another source.
