Hi everyone, this is my first post-I bought this game Call of duty 2 and downloaded it into my computer and everything was going fine until I clicked play and this error sign pops up saying-DirectX9 detected an unrecoverable error, click here for possible solutions-I clicked the link and it tells me to download DirectX9,I downloaded it and it said everything was fine,I click play on the game again and I get the same message saying-DirectX9 detected an unrecoverable error, click here for possible solutions.....
Is there anyway I can fix this problem?

Thanks

the k98 is a damn good gun
Ahh ok-thanks for telling me I appreciate it.Yeah the k98 is awesome,my favorite!

Would call of duty 3 or 4 work on Vista?

I have call of duty 1 and it works fine

Did you try running it in compatibility mode?

Right click the shortcut > properties > compatibility Tab > select Win XP
