Max temp of the Radeonâ„¢ X1950 PRO

Can someone tell me what the max temp of the Radeonâ„¢ X1950 PRO is, because at the moment the ATI Catalystâ„¢ control centre is around 105c when playing Stalker clear sky with every thing on max, is that not a little hot!! Seems to be playing fine although it did crash about an hour ago.

wow and i thought mine ran hot at 95c haha well if its running that hot you're probably gonna have to buy a better cooler for that

what kinda case and how many fans in it?

standard case i guess, with one exhaust fan, 1 CPU fan that has life a sort of manifold over it so it directly blows out of the case. and 1 GPU fan, quite a lot of airflow and space in it.

So is that too hot then?

wow, mines didnt even ran that hot, and i OC'ed mine, and it only ran like 78c max.
maybe try clearing all the dust off in the card to have better airflow.

Yeah, i just went out and brought some compressed air and will try getting rid of some of the dust, will let you know if that makes any difference.

i think the best way to clean off the dust is to take off the heatsink and clean it, though i dont recommend doing as you might damage your card if not careful.

do you think it just might be a problem with the censor?

Check your other temps if they seem off it could be your sensor no?

maybe try using Everest, and see what that program says.
