AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ Brisbane 2.3GHz 2 x 512KB L2 Cache Socket AM2 65W Dual-Core Processor

AMD Athlon X2 BE-2400 Brisbane 2.3GHz 2 x 512KB L2 Cache Socket AM2 Dual-Core Processor

please explain.

Honestly, there's no real difference. The only thing that you would have advance over the other is the over clocking. The 4400+ takes more power to run it so it can you probably get away with higher clocks but then takes up more volts that can used for your Crossfire 4400 video cards! WOOHOOO.

AMD Athlon X2 BE-2400 Brisbane 2.3GHz 2 x 512KB L2 Cache Socket AM2 Dual-Core Processor Would be the best. It has an unlocked multiplier. Making it easier to OC.

The BE-2400 is has a lower TDP, it sucks up less power and is designed for HTPCs and download rigs etc. Other than that, it is identical to the X2 4400+ in every way.
