how to get to my BIOS?!

ok so i have an old dell latitude C400 that i dont know the password to. However it would be a useable computer if i could just log on. It does not have a CD drive, so what i would like to do is get into the bios, and see if i can change the boot location to an external disk or hard drive, then move the OS to the internal harddrive.

basically- how do i get to the BIOS on this computer?! ive tried everything and nothing has worked

You've tried F10, F2, etc? Try all F keys during boot lol.

Press keys like a monkey on crack during the boot sequence.

Should be F2, if that doesn't work try F1,F10, or ESC.

i think that F8 is where u go to ur boot sequence
