Can you tell us what motherboard you have?

Maybe this will help you:

o wait i have a picture of it please tell me if its the black bar or the other white ones???

The long black one is a PCI Express x16 slot. The small one is a PCIe x1 and the two white ones are standard PCI slots.

for the small pci-e x1 what things can go in there? are they for like graphics cards or something??

No, those are for things like sound cards, wireless network cards, etc.

They do make some PCIe x1 video cards, but they really aren't worth the expense.

You could put a graphics card there. Unfortunately there's only a handful around and their counter part (as far as prices go) will easily outperform them. I'm still searching for the reason this slot was created. Less power consumption?
