laptops withein my budget

so i am trying to get a laptop, and i have came up to be able to buy a $500 laptop.
but seems like the laptops around my price range is either a Intel Pentium Dual Core T2390, or a AMD Turion 64 X2 RM-70.
which one is better for the price for performance?

according to this, the Pentium D T2390 is better than the Turion series because its like the C2D

The laptop in my sig has a Intel Pentium Dual Core.Cant remember the clock speeds off the top of my head. I think its like 1.8 , not sure though. It runs fairly fast. wouldnt use it for gaming though.

Turions arnt bad, IMO. My brother has one, Which is pretty quick... I think it's 2.1GHZ?

That laptop doesnt look too bad - Allthough the battery life might not be too great...
