Why IRC...why not just get the chatbox mod for vB.

cos that would involve david installing it here which he may not want to do and may add unnneded strain to the server ,
i think this way is better that way it gives people who dont wanna see the chatbox more of a choice cos sometimes i think chatboxes look messy on forums

It takes like 5 seconds to install and doesn't put any straing on the server, there isn't really much on it anyway.

Hell no to a VB based one. I'm all for having an IRC server.. I just hope some people connect to the damn thing.

Client you guys like? Personally I like HydraIRC.

http://mibbit.com is the best, you can easily integrate one into your own page.
