random crashing

im using windwos vista on my laptop and it randomly crashes and restarts it comes up with a blue screen and a section says something about dump till it reaches 100% then starts to reboot, any idea what is causing this?

At a guess I'd say something is wrong with it.

How about some detail, please.

Did the laptop originally come with Vista?
Which version of Vista?
What are the laptop specs? e.g. processor, amount of memory etc
What is the BSOD error message?
