why could not dell just make it easy by when you typing in gthe model number they then give you a list of drivers to install and not like a choice of 39 different drivers just for cd/dvd drive?
how do I establish which one to choose from list and know which one mine is from list of drivers to download. i have tried looking at the device manager and the list of drivers. i then right clicked on things like 'audio codecs' and was told manuacture was a standard one.
I then looked at website to see if the audio codec standard driver was there but it came up with a totally different list of drivers to download. confusing.
anyhow, will have to get back to this issue some time over weekend as its late and I am hitting sack now! Thank you ace 777 for all your help and support up until now. I do hope this little issue is resolved 'quick-smart'!!!
