Quad Testing

Slightly off-topic, but can you perhaps PM me about how you got the 5600+ to 3GHz? I have one lying around that I might use in a gaming rig for my brother...

As for benchmarks, you could use 3DMark and pay attention to the CPU tests, or Everest as has been suggested. I've used Geekbench a few times and like the way it displays results and what it tests, so I will definitely agree with the suggestions for that particular bit of kit. :)

Also, some of the tools on here may be useful to you:

Thats because you've got to buy the full version for 64 bit support.

What graphics card have you got in it?

what are your temps for stock
mine under 100% load all 4 cores
hit 58

ok

1st, i realise that now but im not gonna pay for that software when its a friends build.

2. only some 7300 @ the moment as the build who its for is puttin in aa 8600 or a 8800 later on.

3. my temps after 30 mins on prime 95 on four cores was 52'C

@ first i had oads of problems with it hittting 59'C after 20 seconds but then i reseated it and it was ok
