Yeah i guess we really do see it differently. Come winter in wisconsin cheap and light doesnt really help. Hatchbacks are fast? They have absolutely no torque.

But yeah my gf says there cute, maybe ill go look at one for her and ill bore out the valves, slap on a cold air intake so she can atleast merge onto a freeway. xD

Lol this last winter proved that one real well. Four wheel drive for the win!

great choice man, here's my baby :). i'm still adding things slowly, right now im focusing on lighting. im converting everything to LED and will be replacing the front lenses soon, which will make a MAJOR difference in how it looks. just had it repainted as well, so up close it looks freakin good.

Not everyone lives in Wisconsin.

And torque isn't the only part of being fast. It's called power to weigh ratio.

True, but torque is important for acceleration. My dad has a pretty fast small car compared to some, a subaru outback, basic 2.5H-4 engine. 170hp, and like 150 torque. He drove my truck and said it was very peppy, made his car feel slow.
Those small cars are light, but they dont wiegh that much less then jeeps and trucks. My truck wieghs about 3200pounds at most. Fullsize wiegh about 1000-2000 more. But with those big V-8s, the power to weight ratio is much better then those small cars.
Ever seen those youtube videos where a Cummins smokes a Viper? Check it out.
