i was reading a review of the Xigmatek HDT-S1283, and it seems that the OCZ vendetta 2 beats it by about 1c-2c.

i dont know if its actually real or not.
Microcenter is selling the OCZ for about the same price.
i dont know if i should get the Xigmatek, or the OCZ...

EDIT - heres one that says the Xigmatek beats the OCZ

If you plan to use a low RPM fan, get the Xigmatek, it's fins are shorter, the Vendetta requires a higher RPM fan as it has much longer fins.

more RPM means louder the fan?
i was wondering if theres a way to get one of them fan where you can adjust the speed of the fan(like the things that comes with a zalman, or the tuniq)

Asus Triton 79. its about $69.00 so only $9.00 more then what your limit is...but works amazing and does its job by far. would recommend it!

both Xigmateks mentioned in previous posts on this subject matter beat the ASUS Triton in price and performance, especially when OCing is introduced into the equation, and you could buy both Xigmatek coolers with the $$ it takes to buy one ASUS Triton...

if you live near a micro center, you can get the OCZ vendetta for about the same price for the Xigmateks online price.
i think i am leaning towards the OCZ because it seems its 1c-2c cooler than the Xigmatek HDT-S1283
