All software will NEVER be compatible. Some is just wayyyy too old to even bother updating. It's like saying, "I'll never go from windows 98 to XP until all my software is compatible". It never happened then, it won't now, and it won't happen when Windows 7 comes out either.
Lowndsey has the truth of it. Had you actually used it, you'd see that Vista is a lot more stable than XP ever was.
I did give Ubuntu a try on my craptop. I used it for like a week, maybe two with Chris' help. I just can't take it any more. Thank you windows Home server for the image to get XP back on that thing.
I used to use XP, but my computer died. I am now going to build one within the next 3 months, and i was wondering, should i upgrade to Vista, even though i still have my old XP HDD and its product key?
