Yeah, when people are taking shots like that is pure luck. They see something happening and they set shutter speeds to hundreds, or maybe even thousandths of a second and they just hold the button down. Specially in sports, photographers take tens of shots just of one play, and in somewhere in the middle they'll have the shot that they were looking for.

That is a sick picture though, I wonder if it also got infected.
