I have a problem about my computer. I bought an HP a6000n around April 2007 and it came with vista but i formatted to XP Pro a couple of times and now i formatted to Vista Home Premium x64 about 3 months ago and it has been working perfectly. After six months after i bought the computer, i bought 1GB (512x2) Corsair RAM so i had 2GB of RAM altogether. Then I bought a nVidia 7300 GS. 2 months later i bought a 8600GT. Everything was working and no problems. Now when ever i play a game (CoD4, WoW, CoD2 etc) my computer randomly turns off. It gives me no warning, no shut down screen. Its like i unplug the power from the back of the computer, but i dont. It started happening this morning. Last night i was playing CoD4 for a while and no problems. Is it my video card or my PSU or CPU? How do I find out what is causing the problem.
Specs: HP Pavilion a600n

-stock Asus Motherboard
-stock PSU 300w
-MSI NX8600GT Twin-Turbo
-Windows Vista Home Premium x64
I dont overclock
Thanks for the help!!

Well, as far as I know, the 8600GT graphics card requires minimum of 350 watts, so that very well may be your problem. Upgrade the PSU
