It could be your account name - If it is, then it sounds to me like the website in question may be vunerable to SQL injection - I wouldnt use your "normal" password on there. It could also be a coding error... They might just have a bug. Try using different infomation when you sign up - and avoid using any strange symbols...
You might want to tell the website owned about the problem.
