its narrowed down to the q6600 with the original video card
and the original set up i posted

You should really get an Intel processor with that kind of budget. The E8400 will perform much better in games than a slower quad core or the 5000+.

Yup, couldn't agree better. i too was wondering wether or not to get a Quad, but as "freestyler105" says, the E8400 will out perform the lower clocked Quad cores. Also the E8400 can be OC'd pretty high too.

I love my intel E8400 , i too would recommend it!!
