USB flash drive question

Ok, just a quick question. I have a USB thumb drive (2gb), but I only have a few things in it. Anyway, when I insert it into my usb port, it takes a long time for the usb drive folder to automatically open up on my computer (about 30 sec or so). But, when I insert the thumb drive to my laptop, it comes up right away. Anyone one know why this happens? Its not that big of a problem, just a little irritating.

Check on the computer that takes 30 seconds to boot up and see if you have the drivers for it.

Edit: Nevermind, I got it fixed through services.msc. Thanks anyways.
