Crysis was an ass boring tech demo to push hardware sales. It's a conspiracy, the developers know fine well that there's currently nothing powerful enough to run it on full settings completely smoothly.
For what I played, it was balls. Apparently it gets even worse after the aliens (yeah, aliens... how's that for an original concept
) come down. It reminds me of Halo: you start off with Marines vs Covenant (Crysis: random Americans vs North Korea) and then they throw the Flood in (Crysis: random aliens) just to drag it out unnecessarily and annoy the bejesus out of you.
Seriously, it was graphically rather nice but the gameplay was just Half Life 2's physics mixed with a bit of Call of Duty.
