Upgrade your CPU. A 5600+ should do you good. Or, try a 5800+ or a 6000+. Fastest CPU in the Dual Core series is a 6400+. The Phenoms are a little too expensive for you.

go with a new processor for now, your motherboard is still good.
Unless you want to do what i m doing, which is to get a new mobo (i already got) and like dont buy a new processor till the phenom goes down in price even more.
Your computer is pretty much fast already.

yea i'm kinda thinkin that the 4000+ is bottlenecking..think it's time for an upgrade..can anyone recommend me a good cooler..
 
Their stock cooler :p Nah, I have a great experience with my Cooler Master GeminII, and it works with an AM2 board as well. I have a 4000+, and I have a 6400+ coming.
