my cpu is running at 100% lately and I can't find any problems it is an amd dual core 5600+

when i start up the computer the bios says cpu fan error. press f1 to continue.

Is your CPU's fan running? The CPU could be throttling to keep from damaging itself.

What temps is BIOS reporting? Look inside the case and see if the Fan is running...

Ok, but you did you look in BIOS and check the temps like i said above?

Click on 'Task Manager' and then select the processes tab.

Have a look here to see if a program is using CPU 100%. If you see something that's using all your CPU resource then have a look into it.

If 'System Idle Process' is 99% when your not doing anything then that's ok.
