affect the system temperature?
because when i put in a new PSU, all my components got higher.
Motherboard got hotter by 2c
CPU got hotter by 3c
and the GPU got hotter by 4c.
hmm kinda weird how the degrees goes up in order....
nothing changed in my computer except a PSU.
thanks in advance

The fan(s) in the new one probably don't move as much air as the old one. PSU's dump heat out the back of the case, so it shouldn't have an affect on your whole system's temperature. Unless the extra heat is heating up the room.

Wouldn't it still emit heat regardless? Although little I think the metal could heat up and heat the air around it. That's just my 2 cents. I could be wrong.

its another Xion, the same one i had last time.
but the way it looks a little different, my old one has a vented thing on the top, while this one is on the side.
im going to get another psu when micro center restocks.

some have cool designs like mine suckes air from the bottom of the psu (its bottom mounted in my case) and is sucked out the back, so it pretty much has its own fresh air from the outside world :p

i cant wait till micro center restocks....
or i could just buy it off of newegg, its the same price if you consider the tax....
but i dont have bank account...
