The only thing I don't like about VLC player is that it "artifacts" when you skip forward with some files, which is when I like Zoom Player.

I personally use iTunes and Windows Media Player.

Plays all my MP3's, and MOD files wth plugins.
I then use Windows Media Player to play 5.1 surround digital mixes.

I Find it quite pleasing to the eye,and i think it sounds better than winamp (I Think because it has Trubass and WowEffects.
