so i ways in my room, using my computer, and it was OC'ed by the MSI D.O.T by 10%. I was playing GRID, then suddenly my computer shut down. I tried turning it back on but it wont turn on. I unplugged the power cable in the back, replugged it back in in about 10 min with the CMOS battery out. then when i try to power on again, it like starts up for a split second, then it shuts down. I know it opes a split second because when i power on my computer, the LED fans lights up for the split second.
anybody know what wrong?
thanks in advance

reset the bios by pulling out that quarter sized battery?

you have to keep it out for a good 10-15m

did that, no luck.
i went to my friends house to get my old computer, and switched the PSU because i was curious, and it turns out it is the PSU.
so my computer lives! YAY!

yeah, i am going to try to get the OCZ StealthXStream 500W from micro center when they restock.

So basically your old psu never had the power to overclock enough?

it does, i overclocked with it many times, but that was before i had the 8800GT.

and also, 500W? Thats hardly enough =x 650-700 would be a good direction..

just my .02c

i think thats enough to last me till i start a new rig.
