Yeah, the whole "could care less" really irks me as well. It appears almost literally on the Xbox.com forums makes that mistake all the time, it doesn't take much thought to get it right. If you don't care about something: "I couldn't care less, because you're caring so little it's not possible for you to care less. "I could care less" implies that you are currently caring and are thus capable of caring less.

I actually find that common, classic mistake pretty damn annoying TBH.

It still appears wrong because you you used the word "but", indicting a turn in opinion. You should have used "because".

Edit: actually, I'm confused. It is right. Everyone laugh at me.
