Nvidia Physx?

Nevermind, that site's drivers are zipped and the modded INF is provided, whereas the drivers from Nvidia's site come in the .exe form.

The way you did it was correct, although I prefer Driver Sweeper.

Now run Vantage and take a look at your CPU score.

Did you install the physics driver 8.06.12?

When you install the Physics driver you'll end up with a start menu item called nvidia corporation, inside it is the nvidia physics properties icon, when you click that you end up with the console below, navigate to the settings tab to check that physics is enabled.

Rumour is that nvidia will release a WHQL driver on Aug 5th for cards that are currently not supported (G80 core onwards only supported at present iirc)

No idea mate, I don't have Vista (DX10) or Vantage

do you need the ageia physx card to use this driver?
nope, a G80 core nvidia video card (or later) will do, you must have a nvidia driver later than the 177.35 and the nvidia physics driver 8.06.12 as well though.

As I posted earlier the rumour is that the earlier cores will be supported in the August 5th driver release from nvidia
