Printer wont print PDF or Word Documents

I have just installed a printer on my XP Pro PC. I am trying to print a PDF document but the printer throws out a blank page. I can hear the printer head working fine but nothing comes out.

I can print web pages no problem from Firefox or Internet Explorer but it wont print PDF Word Documents, Notepad documents or emails.:mad:

Printer is a Brother DCP-115C.
 
its not your printer, its the settings for it on PC. Go to your control panel, then printers, then settings. then ask someone, starting from there. (unfortunately im not printer expert)
