No, unfortunately not. I am currently entering grade 12. I am just debating on whether or not I should buy an imac now, or wait a while. Is their any way I get an education discount anyways?

Only if you're a college student. Apple also runs a free iPod promotion for college students buying an Apple computer.

just know that alot of the software that you are going to use may not be compatable with the mac or, word will work but what will be the main use of you laptop.

I far as I have noticed. More and more things are compatible with macs now and I dont do a lot of gaming on computers and microsoft office and student are on mac now anyways

thats due to the higher amounts of thembieng sold, im saying that not everything will be so my wuestion was what will it be for, just office? then you'll be fine.

If you ever need to run a Windows program, you can simply run Bootcamp. It's included with every Mac with Leopard.
