What are your religious views?

okay everyone lets belive in the BIG BANG THEORY yayyyyy come on kids lets make up some other stuff like the universe was created because there was somehow water in the middle of space therefore causing a chain reaction with the chemical's in space thus causing this whole UNIVERSE TO BE CREATED!!!!!! yayyyy..... not... what kinda person SERIOUSLY thinks that there was a big bang and we evolved from fishes to monkey's/ gorilla's what ever it is to human's, the DNA strand of a monkey is nowhere even near that of the human, same with the fish......

*sigh*

Scientists don't just make stuff up you know. They follow the evidence and draw their conclusions based on evidence. Anyway, as for the scientific proof of these claims (I'm still waiting for your proof of Jesus rising from the dead):

Ken Miller is an evolutionary biologist AND a Catholic:

Human evolution:

The "Made-Easy" series. Brilliant short videos of how the world really works:

"Why Do People Laugh At Creationists?" series. Absolutely brilliant:

"Misquoting Jesus: How the Bible is Tainted" lecture by a prominent Bible researcher. Everything from mistakes, forgeries and stupidities in the Bible. Following his research he went from Christian to agnostic, which confirms my belief that the best way to disbelief God is to read the Bible:

Just research things before dismissing them. It makes you look stupid.

Their's a bit about it here, as well as quite a bit of scattered info on google. Due to the fact this idea is absurd, it was dropped quite a while ago.

Without orbiting platforms the medieval denizens didn't know any better, although it didn't take a sputnik for them to figure it out. There were some pretty advanced thinkers even then that knew the world is round. But due to being labeled a heretic usually meant dying in a gruesome manner, they kept their mouths shut.

That person is Galileo. He was thrown in prison for proving the earth is round. The Catholic Church still haven't apologised and admitted they were wrong because it would destroy the "infallibility" of the Papacy and throw the Catholic Church into chaos.

I'm sorry, but Galileo was never "thrown in prison" for proving the earth was a globe. That was already a common notion (hence the term "The myth of the flat earth"). He was sentenced to "house arrest" under suspicion of heresy for saying that the sun was the center of the solar system.

Well considering the times, it was widely believed that the Earth was the center of the solar system and everything revolved around it.

Did any one happen to notice how the separation of church and state is slipping in the US? One of many reason the colonists fled the crown was to get away from the church running the British government. The crown was just a puppet to the catholic church. We beat feet to the new world to govern ourselves and to have freedom of religion. To practice our own faiths in our own ways. Now the lines of church and state are being blurred. The current Pres (Let's keep this on track here. We all know he's a idiot to start with.) wants to have us lean toward faith based services rather than government based services. I personally believe this is wrong. If invoked this would open the door for the church to have it's hand in our government, again. Holier than thou types like Jerry Falwell and Oral Roberts would have killed to get to whisper in the ear of the Pres and tell him what to do. Could you imagen what it would be like in this country? I can and it's scares the hell out of me.

Don't look now, but Obama supports those very same faith based programs setishock. I guess that means he's an idiot too.
