But I would go with what Joga said because it works better. Go to command prompt with administrative privileges, type "taskkill /F /IM ProgramNameHere.exe" without the quotes.

OP OP C Celticsfan Banned Messages 939 Jul 10, 2008 #9 on occasions when I am d/l something big and then try to do something else like install an apps or d/l something else small my PC may hang and the only way to stop it is by force reboot.
