stress test

I'm getting that working ATM. I just installed the 177.35 drivers, I'll hopefully have my GT folding my away soon...

okay mran prime and core temp
no temps past 56
no thats good
but i feel like my system is still a little unstable...
okay this is weird
windows side bar and other windows things are deff not stable
idk what to do....i cant right click on the desktop with out gettring a loading circil...

When you ran prime which test did you run and for how long?

Windows isn't stable??

Hour glass is usually RAM at max, could be an issue there.

You have installed all the m/board drivers yes?

The first thing you did after installing Windows was run the Intel chipset update wasn't it? yes?

It should have been the first one on your m/board drivers disk.

i ran prime for 5mins just to stress my cpu for temps witch is wat i wanted
but every thing is stable i have like 6 programs running but windows explorer seems to be corrupt
(probly cuz i installed with memory timings and voltages messed up)
you think if i reformatted and installed vista again that would fix it?

Is it a legit Vista install?

And you should be running Prime95 for at least 5 hours, not minutes. 5 minutes doesn't tell you anything.

ya it is its an oem
like i said i think i need a reformat i think i might have been corrupted cuz every
any other program seems to be stable

5 minutes is not enough to ensure anything is stable, which test did you run?

Memory timings/voltages may (and I stress may) have caused some data corruption but I doubt it.

What is the memory? (brand and module size)

I would suggest running memtest86+ on the modules one at a time to ensure there is not a faulty one.

4G
2 sticks of 800mhz
ocz sli ram and both sticks are fine
i ran windows memroy test of the os disk
like i said i think i need a re installation im sure that will fix most of my problems
the prob being parts of windows r unresponsive any other program runs fine

You're running the blend test. Blend test uses a lot of memory resources, do you hear your HDD going like crazy?
Run the small FFT test.

In fact, run F@H.
