i have this much music:

ive got a good 75.1Gb of music and half of that is what ive got from friends. i mainly use soulseek to download my music these days but first i always check www.g2p.org and if i need it really quickly i use this:

http://search.playlist.com/

its searchs myspace for music that you want and then streams it to you, cool stuff

the only problem i am seeing with all of this is there is no distinction between someone who has downloaded like 1000 songs and a person who has downloaded 1 song which i dont think is very fair

I think they are sending out letters first and then will start kicking repeat offenders off

Is this for every ISP though or just some? and is it just P2P?

well i imagine its jus p2p networks, as thats what most things runs off nowa days, everything you download is usually from other people on the internet,

peer -----2----- peer

and i believe virgin are the ones making the big issue at the moment but im sure other isp's will follow

Oh right. So that means they will not montior things you download from Rapidshare or megauploads. As they are not P2P
