Ok i want to buy a geforce 9800gtx which is SLI compatible. Now i don't have enough cash to dish out enough for two of the cards right away.

Can i purchase one right now....run it normally in my comp...then once i get enough cash, buy the 2nd one and hook it up SLI mode? or do i need to buy both cards at the same time?

No you do not need to buy both cards at the same time In my opinion i wouldent even bother with SLI im a harcore gamer and i wouldent ever get SLI

well what card do u have now? do u have it already? if not id go with Crossfire cuz its so much more efficient. that is if your board supports it

going to be buying the
BFG NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX OC 512MB PCIe 2.0

Now my second question is this....
On the site it says that the Geforce 9800 GTX OC requires 475W PCI Express®-compliant system power supply with a combined 12V current rating of 26A or more

i bought a 680 Watt Powersupply rating 12V current rating of 24A

Will my power supply support the 9800 GTX OC????
