8800GT vs 9600GT

Is it a worthy upgrade from my 8600GT? I can get the 9600GT (512mb) for $150 Or i can get the 8800GT (512mb) for $195,Which is best?

I Really need bang for buck here as im on a strict budget! (Need to pay of debts,but my graphics card is'nt performing in the games i want)
