Ahh ok, sweet. I've been through there going to visit my grandma (who lives in north west arkansas), centervile is a nice town. Beware though, because from what I've noticed when you leave Memphis and cross over the I-40 bridge to get into Arkansas you'll see there are all kinda pretty street lights for about a mile, but then the farther you go the less lights you see and when you've finally gotten 5 miles out of Memphis there isn't a light in sight, or an exit where you can turn around. So you can't ever follow the lights back, its like they'll let you out, but once you've been tainted by Arkansas, don't bring your ass back

Course, things may have changed since I last went though there...but it wouldn't hurt to make sure your fueled up before you cross the bridge

Focuses look alright, only the first gen ones though... Though what I think ruins the side of the car is the black plastic running down the side. It doesn't look so bad on D-Lew's I guess b/c of the color, but look at other colors and it looks retarded. It would be better if they colored that the same color as the car.

The UK focuses look better IMO. Dunno who designed the '08 US Focus, but they need to be shot.

Not a focus fan, but more power to you for modding. I've been driving an escort zx2 for like 4 years and had some fun modding it. Now it's on to a can that can actually be fast. My turbo engine for the rx7 will be here in 2 weeks and she'll finally be running again.

I would just like to let you guys know what's up with D-Lew's life right now. No it's not a boring rant about how life sucks so keep reading.

I felt the need to inform you dudes that tomorrow (today?) around 10:30AM CST I will be departing on an epic adventure, a pilgrimage to Arkansas for an amazing event.

The first annual FocusFest 2008.

A ton of people from my car forum are meeting, racing, and showing there. And it's going to be a party anyway with our club whether or not everyone else comes. But it will be pretty cool meeting everyone and getting on friendly terms with the mods so I can run rampant through the forums and be invincible.

Just kidding.
Wait no, not really.

So yeah, that's what's going on all weekend. I won't be racing because a. my car is slow and b. if it breaks out there then I'm screwed. But I'll probably come back with some good pics for everyone. Wish me luck on my journey, maybe I can bring back another show prize. I need 3, that's a nice round number.

Yeah a lot of people paint that. I think it unifies with the tint and everything else going on so I like my scheme that way. If I were to paint that black plastic it would be WAY too much blue, believe me. It's already blinding enough.

Yes the 08 Focus SUCKS. Ford is globalizing soon so we will essentially get Euro cars over here in 3 or 4 years, which are vastly superior to US models in appearance and quality. There is a redesign a little for the 09 Focus, they made it look "acceptable." But still doesn't have the magic that the first gen and Euro second gens have.

I wish I had a V8 in that baby... besides the whole gas thing. There will be one there with like a 427 (I'm pretty sure that's the size) in it though so I'll get pics. It might still have a 350 but I think the guy put a new motor in.

Mine is set up for circuit type racing instead of drag racing. It's not fast but it can carry speed pretty well, gets me in trouble driving in cities.

ZX351? No but there are some videos on youtube I believe. It's the same color as my car, just with a carbureted 351 in there with a Cobra rear end I believe. They make a kit where there is very little fab needed so it rocks.
