Yes, you should because there is a problem with some of the cards in the HDxxxx series of cards and 3DMark. There is a hotfix you have to install.

Haven't tried the hotfix myself yet, but thats because I have yet to get 3dMark again after reformatting.

I can't even run that benchie.
I was thinking if I should get a 4870 because of my B-day is July 4th, but now I'm getting interested in other things.
But if it makes you feel good, I just ran a test. I have a 7600GT and a 5600+ OCed to 3Ghz. I get:
SM2.0: 1280
HDR/SM3.0: 1190
CPU: 2154
Overall: 3299
Now that is bad.

welll yeah but i dont think im getting the performance
your cpu is right about i know that
it looks alright but you can get better, the best thing would be to improve your pc and tweak a few things.
I suggest running it with no programs running or anything and i suggest doing the odd tweaks in vista such as taking all your visuals and crap off and redo it.
