Hello fellas!

I haven't been on in a few months because I've been so busy with school and tests... thankfully they're over..

So I sold my PS3 with all my extras for $810 on eBay. I've been yearning for an iMac most of this year, so now I'm finally going to buy one. I have about $1100 saved right now, and in a few weeks of paychecks I'll have $1500 - enough for this:

Yes, I know it's refurbished.

Now, there's also this one, only +$50

The difference between the two is that the second one has an intel Core 2 extreme, 2.8 GHz. The first has an intel core 2 duo at 2.8GHz....

Which one is the better buy? Is the extreme better than the core 2 duo? I was looking at the specs and it actually looks otherwise. Please let me know!

First Link:
Processor 2.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
L2 Cache 6MB Shared
Frontside bus 1066MHz

Second Link:
Processor 2.8GHz Intel Core 2 Extreme
L2 Cache 4MB Shared
System bus 800MHz

the second one seems worse than the first. is it? Which is faster?

ok, second one has ddr2 667 whereas the first one has ddr2 800, second one has 500gb hdd whereas first one has 320, i say go with the first one, if you need more space get an external.
