Ultimate would be a great option if you want the extras and Bitlocker...but the problem with Bitlocker is that if your HDD crashes...the entire drive is encrypted. There goes data.

IMO, you're better off with Home Premium, or Business.

all right ill probably go for home premium. plus whats the difference with 64 bit, 32 bit, and just normal?

also would i be able to install this OS without a previous OS on my system. my computer will be brand new (custom built with own parts)

Xp is way better it is faster than xp and doesnt look that bad.
