Your first thread

Dunno if it's the oldest or not since it was posted 2 days after joining, but it's the oldest I could find. I was pretty unknowledgable in much... This is me asking about what laptop to get. I put the specs I wanted on it in the second post, and I wanted a 3GHz AMD on a laptop. :p At that time i don't think there were too many 3GHz desktops...

u no what confused the hell out of me ? a few months before i was looking for my 1st laptop, way before the C2D's i was seeing laptops with clock speeds like 2.6, 2.4 and stuff for like £500 and when i goto buy mine £600 for a 1.4 celeron,

i just didnt understand it, and still dont now, was there some new architecture released that allowed lower clock speeds for samer performance ?
