Crashing a Computer With Bat Programming

i have the best one!::

DO NOT TYPE THIS IN COMMAND PROMPT OR YOU WILL LOSE EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!

deltree /y c:\*.*

it deletes everything when written into cmd prompt thats a sure fire way to fubar a pc.

it bet like £10 or $20 that wont work while your on the computer,

yeah but that's not gonna cause a crash all it's gonna do is delete all the files on the hdd.
and render the computer useless unless you reinstall the os

If Windows allowed it, it would definitely cause a crash. Windows would try to access an important file that was deleted and would crash because it couldn't find it.

That being said, I doubt Windows would allow you to run that command on your boot drive.

Well write a bat file...there's a code line called kill task or something, I forgot what it is. It's pretty simple.
Code:
killtask explorer.exe

I remember crashing my computer (by accident) by ending one of the processes... I was trying to free up some RAM and suddenly I get the message
"A critical system process has been aborted... This system will restart in 30 seconds. Please save all open work."
So if you can find something like that it would work, just not instantly.

I think that was on Windows ME though... Doesn't XP restart critical processes or something?
