could it be heat issues? how long do you lit it sit between boots to cool off. it is is a off on in one minute it is not heat.

seems normal to me most computers don't like being left for hours without a reboot.
all computers slow down it's normal.
could be a dust build up maybe?

no it cant be dust. turning off the computer would not fix dust. it would fix heat

Hmm thanks for all the suggestions... but It has only been doing it for a few months.... and ive cleaned my comp out a few times since then...

It has never done it before and Its really not THAT big of a deal, its more of a nuisance for now, Im just hoping its not a hardware issue, I've had the Mobo/CPU/RAM/HDDs for a 2-3 years now...

Its almost like its my internet but I just moved out and got on a brand new setup and it still does it, because say im playing Battlefield 2 for example, If i just restarted it runs great, if its to the point where its slowing down, I can play for a little then i will lose my connection to the server, but on the other hand if I play CS:S i stay connected I just get weird ping issues and its choppy...

I've tried stuff like resetting my modem but nothing but a restart will fix it... Ill give my comp a good cleaning tomorrow i think its been about a month or 2 so its time for it anyways... if you guys can think of anything else its all appreciated...

Run your scans from safe mode. Also revert back to factory specs as far as your overclocking. It's possible you're getting over heated. Check your cpu fan and the case fans to be sure they are running at the right speeds. If not replace them.
