I don't know if I have overlooked this since now, but I don't seem to figure how this adds up on my system:

Is this what my cpu is currently running at or what?

Well,Download Speed fan,Go into the clocks tab and it will tell you the current speed of your CPU.

Well, I checked out the bios setting to make sure everything was right and sure enough it was. Anyway, I overclocked the cpu to 3.2 just to make sure that the system properties was displaying the clock speed correctly which it is now. Anyway, gonna go load back the default settings and download that program you mentioned, see whats the deal there, maybe I overlooked something.

Thats what maybe I was thinking. But my system runs relatively cool though, I know it wouldnt be a heat issue, maybe just saving power when idle?. Anyway, I set the defaults on the bios and it reads the clock speed correctly now. I might have just unknowingly changed a setting on there. Seems to be working fine now. Gonna download speedfan just to make sure all is well. Thanks for your input guys.
