Honestly I say you're better off going prebuilt for that low of a budget. Remember guys that you still have to pay for an OS and for an LCD, which is about $300 right there.

Dell has a great deal going right now, quad core, 3GB RAM for $500. Add $150 for an LCD and that's an amazing PC.
