unless you guys can find a better PSU about 550w or higher for crossfire that doesnt cost as much as $100 and is a trusted brand.

Thermaltake Toughpower and Xclio Greatpower series are also very good, and anything made by Channel Well.

this one is a little more than $100, but the total cost after rebate ends up being like $90, it's crossfire ready and has four 12v rails...

No, just make sure the the PSU has the required PCI-E power connectors for your cards, and that it is not EPS12V based, otherwise the graphics cards will always be sharing the rails with other components.
