core 2 duo question (easy one?)

Yer just cos you have like a 2.4ghz dual core you cant just do 2.4 multiplied by 2 to get 4.8ghz as that isnt correct , a lot of people on ebay do this though selling desktops saying like 6ghz dual core computer when in reality its just a 3ghz dual core

Agreed. I can't wait until my 10k processor super computer comes in (in a few thousand years). That'll be fun running a computer at 30,000GHz

You can overclock it to 4.0 ghz easily though.


Do you think they will ever have mobo's that support 2 processors? Or is that not possible?

Intel Core 2 Duo E4600 Allendale is the only core duo that runs at 2.4ghz. With the stock fan only, you can get the cpu to 3.3ghz stable,
which isnt bad at all
