best anti-virus

For the freebies I think Avast is the best. I used to hate the interface but it does a good job and it's free. For the paid ones, I think NOD32 is the best one. I like how it uses very little resources and has excellent detection.
 
I use AVG 8.0 now, but its a lot slower than AVG 7.5, and slows my computer down slightly too, with its new "checks".

I wouldn't mind if it'd let me set the program to use only one core or so, but nope, no options like that.
 
i hate the new avg. theres too much extra stuff.


Hey atomic how did you take out link scanner and email scanner?
